Campbelltown Notes.
[From Our Own Correspondent.] An accident occurred to a milk cart belonging to Mr Burgess on Saturday morning. It appears the swingle-tree to which the traces were attached gave way and startled the horse, which ran away, scattering the milk in all directions, and ending in a capsize. The dusty roads quickly absorbed tho lacteal fluid, and, luckily, beyond this loss and a fow caus spoiled no othor harm was douc. The first load of timber for the new building for the Catholic Church has been put on the ground, and the job will be completed very soon. When the building for the FiUglish Church is up we will then have in our prosperous little township six sacred edifices and not one public house. Tho picnic in connection with the Primitive Methodist Sunday School will be held in Mr Staff 's paddock on Friday, and iv the evening of the same day an amateur entertainment will be giveu, at which sixty prices will be presented to the scholars. The members of tho Excelsior Lodge held a meeting on Thursday evening. There was a large attendance. Installation of officers and initiations will take place at the next meeting.
