A. and P. Shows.
(PER PRESS A3SOCIAION). Hawera, November 1. The A. and P. Show was verj successful. There was fine weather and a large . attendance. The champion Lincoln ram was exhibited by Mr Fantham and bred ' by Tbrelkled ; champion ewe. Mr R. Bremner. Champion ram in Romney Marsh, Messrs Best 8r05., ; champion ewe, Mr Eglinton. Champion Bull, Mr Fantham's Lord Nonsuch ; champion cow, Mr Fantbam'B Lady Gordon. There was a good show of cattle and horses, and a fair show of sheep and implements. Wellington, November 1. The annual Show of the Wairarapa , Pastoral and Agricultural Society was opened at Carterton to-daj The entries numbered 1160, the show being one of the largest ever held in the North Island.
