Revenue Returns.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 18. The revenue returns for the quarter ended September 80th show the receipts from the ordinary account to be £1,267,* 157. The expenditure under the head of Government appropriation was £176,---168, and the annual appropriation was £570,795. There were £986,100 worth of Treasury bills outstanding at the end of the quarter. The Customs revenue was £408,825, as against £489,985 for the previous quarter. The beer duty was £12,145, as against £12,998. The railways produced £241,582, as against £248,878. Another table, however, gives the Customs revenue at £408,798, against £447,628 for the previous quarter.
