The demand ib mnch restricted for seed descriptions, and to effect sales very low prices have to be accepted. New Zealand onions are now almost out of the market, which is supplied with American grown at 2d per lb. Prime factory cheese 4fd to 5d per lb ; hams and bacon, 7d H> ; eggs, very largely supplied, and down to 7d per dozen ; lard, 3d to 4d per lb ; cream separator butter, 9d to lOd ; dairy 6d to 8d ; a fair demand is noted for salted samples, but not a great quantity is offering ; fungus is saleable at 2gd to 3d per lb.
