Singular Accident.

(fjeb prbss association i Chbistchubch, October 17 Mrs Pyne, wife of Mr Pyne, met with a singular accident this morning in the shopot Black, Bettie and Co., drapers. Two employes oi the firm were moving an empty case on the floor close to two large rolls of cocoanut matting, which were standing one upon the other. The case strnck the lower roll, and tilted it, and it is supposed that as it fell back against the wall the shook sent the upper one forward and sent it flying over the railing surrounding the " well " for admitting light to the ground floor. The railing wbb about five feet from the rolls of matting. Mrs Pyne was sitting before the counter on the ground floor, and the roll of matting struck her on the back. It is believed h»r spine is seriously io. jured, and she ib now in a critical condition.
