SOME OF THE FAMILIES DESTITUTE. SALVATION ARMY TO THE RESCUE. [PKB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Sydnkv, Tins Day. Commissioner Coombe, of the Salvatiou Army, has received a cable from 1 the Army authorities in Beunos Ayres I that there arc twenty destitute families, who went to New Australia, who are pleading for assistance to carry them back to tho colonies. Tho Army is providing shelter for a auinber of the unfortunate people, aud Commissioner Coombe asks that the Premier of New c South Wales bo informed of their wishes, j; and desires to know whether the Government or the public will raise funds I to pay the passages back. 1
