Manawatu Farmers' m Co-Opera-tive Association. o Following is the annual report to be submitted to the annual meeting of shareholders on October 26th -—The directors beg to submit their second annual balance sheet to shareholders showing a net profit of L 2167 13s 3d, after providing for bad and doubtful debt*, depreciation of stock &0., winch they propose to distribute as follows :— 8 per cent per annum dividend on capital ; 3 per cent bonus returnable on shareholders' purchases ; 3 per cent boaua on employes' salaries : directors honorarium, £25 each ; £25 auditor's fee and expenses; write £150 off fixtures and plant ; and carryforward the balance to next year's account To meet the increasing trade, due to the loyal support of shareholders, large additions to the premises have been made. During the past year 304 Bhares were allotted to 54 shareholders In future shares will only be issued at a premium of 5s per ■hare. In accordance with the Articles of Association, two directors.
