— ♦ Messrs Gorton aud Son report :— Full entries of a good glass of sheep, especially hoggets, and fair entries of cattle made up our Bulls sale on Tuesday. The attendance was good but bidding was far from brisk, and though we sold a good many pens of stock under the hammer more business was done after the sale. Our quotations are : — Cattle— Fat bullocks, £6 15s to 17 5s ; fat cows, £6 ; forward steers, £5 10s ; yearling steers, £2 2s 6d to £2 7s ; 18 month mixed, £2 10a ; weaners, 87s 6d ; springing heifers. Jt'6. Sheep— Wethers, 18s to 10s 4d; ewe hoggets, lis ; wether hoggets, 10s 9d ; mixed hoggets, 9s 3d to 10s 3d ; inferior hoggets, 7s 6d ; fat ewes, lis.
