The War Between Japan and China.
(FEB PREBS ASSOCIATION.} Washington, October 10. Four gunboats are being sent to Chinese waters. Shanghai, October 10. Five thousand Russians have been posted on tbe Corean frontier, facing the Japanese. In Canton there is a panic at the Jap. anese advance, and it is reported that the Japanese have landed at Tarascada. Tokio, October 10. Japan has rased an interval loan of fifty million dollars. London, Oct. 10. The Times states that it is no European concern to bring pressure with regard to the Japanese quarrel with China, which must be fought out. Birmingham firms haye enormous private orders for ammunition.
