Tho Paris correspondent of the Times says French politicians are strongly adverse to the establishment of British Zollverein, fearing it would still further strengthen the ties between, tho colpqies and the Mother Country. The Ministers have resumed their holidays. It is alleged that tho intention of England to increase the Chinese squadrons is a concerted plan on the part of England and Russia to enforce Japanese to adopt moderation in their operations against China, and to prevent collapse of the Chinese Empire.
