Mr Richmond for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs Bs, solicitor's fee 15s 6d The Official Assignee in J. 0. Morey's estate yD, Humphries ; claim £1 2s 4d. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff with costs 9s. Same v T. Hall ; claim £2 sa. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff. Judgment for amount claimed with costs ss, solicitor's fee 5n J. W. Norman v. S. P. Hodge, a judgment summons, claim £18 10s 6d. Mr Richmond for plaintiff, and Mr Reade for defendant. No order was made. Cook and Turley v. A. L. Parr. Mr Reade for defendant. This was a case to take evidence. A. L. Parr denied his liability, and R. Parr, in giving evidence, said that he or his family had purchased the, articles and if a proper aocount was sent to him he would pay it. J. Thompson v. E. Hat field, claim £11 5s lid. This was an application for re-hearing the case, the original •claim being £16 5s 4d. Mr Sandilands for plaintiff, and Mr Richmond for defendant. John Thompson deposed: Was tinployed by defendant to cut timber for Mr Powell at 6s a hundred feet ; cut over 8759 feet, but only received i'lo. Arthur George Carty deposed : Was a law clerk at Feilding ; issued a summons against Hatfiolcl, who interviewed him in FeildiDg; defendant admitted the claim, and said he did not want it to go into Court; defendant thoroughly understood what witnoss said to him, and did not dispute the amount. For the defenco Mr Richmond called Edwin Hatfield, who doposed: Was engaged by Mr Powell to out timber at 14s per lOOjt all round, matai and totara ; plaintiff came on as a partner, although 1 witnoss took the contract.
