RAILWAY RETURNS.
■ The following are the Traffic Keturns for the Napier-Taranaki section for the four weeks ending 18th August, 1 894, and for the corresponding four ' waalcr 1893 : —
The total revenue for the above period 1894 was £77,081 7s as against £74,452 0s 8d for 1893, but the total for the year so far is £422,- --. 964 18s 5d as against £436,763 7s 6\ for the corresponding term in 1893, a k very perceptible falling off.
