Education Board Executive.
A meeting of the Exeoutive Committee of the Wanganui Education Board was held yesterday afternoon. Present - Messrs Notman (chairman), Bridge, Baker and Carson. A fresh prospectus was prepared in conjunction with Mr Blair, for the Technical School classes It was resolved to advertise in the Wanganui, Hawera add Palmerstou newspapers for a carpenter for the Board. The Porewa Committee wrote to say that they had selected Mr A. H. Powell, of Terrace End, Palmerston North, to succeed Mr Tompkins, but would like the latter to remain in charge until after the examination next month. This was agreed to. A number of appointments were made, and the meeting adjourned. — (Chroniole. '
