Arrival of the lonic.
IMPORTATION OF PEDIGREE STOCK. [PBS PBKSS ASSOCIATION. I Wellington, This Day. Shortly after the lonic passed Farewell Spit yesterday morning Mr Fletcher, a silicon passenger, died of apoplexy Deceased was London Manager ol Tombes' Publishing Company. The lonic leares on Thursday foi Lyttelton. The lonic is in command of Captain Lindsay, her old commander, Captain Kidiey, having stayed behind in London, probably to assume the command of the Gothic. The lonic brings some highclass pedigree stock consisting of two Shropshire rams and one Shorthorn bull for Mr Williams, of Hawke's Bay, and two Romney Marsh rams for Mr Turnbull, of Lyttelton.
