(Per Press Association.) London. September 19. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is | 2,350,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,270,000 quarters. The American visible supply of wheat is 86,500,000 bushels. Mr Valentine, the New Zealand dairy •xpert, in view of the present stock of dairy produce iv London, the increased production, and the inadequate system of disposal, urges that some better method of distribution of butter, based on joint action of all colonial producers, should be adopted.
