Death of the Hon. Mr Hart.

(Per Press Association.) , Wellington, This Day. The Hbri. Robert Hart, M.L.C. died yesterday. He was eighty year of age, arid had been fifty one years ii Wellington. He had been ailing fo some time, and was not able to b< present in bis place in the Council thi session. In his younger days he wai a well-knoown barrister and solicitor and for years was the principal mem ber of the firm of Hart and Bucklej (now Sir Patrick Buckley). In 1854 he was elected member for Welligtor in the first Parliament held in Auck land, and in 1872 was called to the Upper House. He was one of the oldest Freemasons in the colony.
