The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency (Limited) report for the week ending 14th September: — Wool —The opening of the fifth series of sales in London on the 18th instant is awaited with interest. Latest London cablegrams report that about 2000 bales of merino have been disposed of since last saleEi at $d to Id per lb advance on closing prices. Locally, nothing is doing. Sheepskins. — Not many skins have come forward during the week, and business has been dull. A line of inferior to medium merinos brought 3s Id, and prime crosabred up to 5s 6d ; station skins have come to hand in good supply, and late quotations have been maintained. Best skins brought up to 3s 8d : medium 2a 8d to 3s ; inferior, Is to Is 9d. Hides— ln good supply, and late quo tations are unchanged. Fla*. — N.oth»nc new fco report. Small lines have changed hands at nominal prices* Wheat— Market stationary at rooent quotations. Good whole fowl wheat is difficult to obtain, and shrivelled qualities do not oommand much attention.
