(Per Press Association) Auckland, September IS. At the Supreme Court, Frederick Frewin was acquitted on the charge of receiving stolen goods. Judge Conolly said the verdict was an extraordinary one, but it wastht act of the jury, not hia. The charge of tnanalaaghter against Beard commences to-morrow.
