The Feilding Star, Oroua & Kiwitea Counties Gazette. Published Daily. FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 1894. FEILDING POST OFFICE.
« Although tho Government have informed our Member that they have no iutenti( n of erecting a new post office in Feilding, it is not likely the people will allow themselves to be treated with such scant courtesy for ell time. If they cannot get what they want in that connection this session, they must try again next year, and endeavour to bring such pressure to bear as will compel attention. No complaint is made that Ilunterville has been favored with the promise of a pott, office but it has been suggested that this concession was granted to redeem certain election pledges. Bo that as it may, that town is daily rising in importance and the residents there have evory right to receive proper consideration and we do not bogiudge them their better fortune
