Fatal Railway Collision.

(Per Press Association). Melboubnb, August 29. A serious railway collision has taken place at Baddeginnie, about twelve miles from Sandhurst. A goods train from Benalla dashed into a stationary goods train from Melbourne. The engine of the incoming train was thrown from the rails and badly smashed, a fireman named Campbell being killed instantly, and the driver, Cherry, badly injured. Tbe guard also received a severe shaking. Fortunatelj the driver and fireman of tbe stationary train were temporarily absent from the engine. The alleged cause of the accident is a disregard of the signals.
