Frozen Meat Trade.
(Per Press Association). London. August 28The thawing of frozen meat under Messrs Nelson Bros', new patent will cost one farthing per lb, and Sruithfield experts expect that it will increase £ho value of meat from Id to l^d per lb. The process of mechanical thawing will occupy two days for mutton, and five days for beef. Produce merchants in Cadiz, Spain, have requested Mr Forrest, of Queensland, to forward there a trial shipment of that colony's meat, as they believe there is a good chance of opening up a market. _____^_^__
