| Per Press Association]. j Weujnqton, August 24. ] The Council met at 2.30. The Gaming Bill, Levels Couaty , Bill and Pohangina County Bill were i ' put through their final stages. The Havelock Commonage Bill, Timaru Harbour Reclamation Bill, Timaru Harbour District Retaining Bill, Ocean Beach (Dunedin) Public Domain Amendment Bill were all read a second time. Middle Districts New Zealand University College Bill was committed and subsequently passed its final stages. The Legitimation Bill was recommitted, and after an unimportanamendment bad been inserted, pro gress was reported. The Council then adjourned till Tuesday
