Colyton School Committee.
♦ J A meeting of the Colyton School Committee was held in the school last i Dvening. Present — Messrs Shortall (chairman), John Andrews, Bray, Smith, and Fletcher (secretary). The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was read as follows : i From the Board ro James Fraser, t stating ho was in the books as a cadet. | - Received. « From the same, stating that Mr Fry had reported that no extra tank was needed for the residence.— The members '• were of opinion that the Boaad should < supply sufficient water for household purposes, and according^, on the , motion of Messrs Bray and E. Smith, it was resolved to ask the Board to reconsider their decision. A circular was received from the Taradale School Committee, ro a regular interchange of Inspectors. — Tho Chairman remarked that tbo circular expressed his sentiments exactly, and, this being the case with the others, it was unanimously decided to support the Taradale Committee in the movement. Acconuts were passed for payment and the meeting terminated.
