During the series 215.000 bales were sold, of which 115,000 bules were taken for the Continent and 1000 bales for America. It is estimated that 78.000 bales are held over for future disposal. The fifth series will commence on 18th September next Locally small lots are coming forward, and realise as follows : — Crossbred, 6d to 7 id l : pieces, 2£d to 3} locks, l£d to 2d. Present figures are — Full-woolled, up to 3s 7d ; half woolled, 2s 4d to 2s 9d ; inferior, le 6d to 2s ; pelts, 4d to 7d.
