The World's Trio Company.
The World's Trio Company gave one of their clever performances in the Assembly Booms last evening, to a fairly good house, when the audience was kept in a state of merriment from start to finish. Messrs Crawford and Mooney, as corner men, caused a great deal of laughter, and their funny farces, songs, and kicking feats were much appreciated. Miss Daisy Thornton was much applauded in her Irish jigs, as also was Miss Daisy Holbein in the rendering of tiro songs, Mr j Dickson's rendering " Baby's laughing in his eleep," and "Be kind to the poor, 1 ' was rendered very well. Mr J. Brown's Dutch song and dance were deservedly encored. The programme was brought to a close by the laughable farce " Maniac's " by Mooney and Crawford which brought down fine hou.se. The company wijl appear liere again nest Wednesday, when they will have an entire change of programme and eopga.
