MARLBOROUGH V. BUSH UNION.

(Per Press Association.) Pahiatua, August 6. The match, Marlborough v Bush District Team, was played at Pabiatua this afternoon, and resulted in a wiu for Marlborough by twelve points to nil. Soon after the start of the game, Carter passed to Connolly, who potted a beautiful goal. Just before the call of half time, from a forward rush, Woolley secured a try. The Bush Union, however, had all the best of the first spell, and on soveral occasions only an accident prevented a score. In tho second spell Carter, after a magnificent run from half way, touched down near the corner flag, and Griffiths placed a fine goal. The visitors played a fine combined game, passed splendidly, and kicked with great judgment. In the second spell they completely outmatched their opponents. The Rev. Father McKenna officiated as referee.
