o The match between the Mauawatu and Marlborough Union takes place on the Showground, Palmerston, to.morrow afternoon. The visitors scored a win yesterday against the Bush Union by 12 points to nil, and therefore a firstclass game may be expected to-morrow. The Pirates will play the Bulls Club a final match on Saturday for the MeKelvie Cup. The Pirates won the Cup last year, and it will become the property of the winners of Saturday's match. Tho South Canterbury team play Hawke's Bay to-morrow, Wanganui on Saturday, and Manawatu on Monday. For tho convenience of intending visitors to the football match at Palmerston to-morrow Mr H. Goldfinch will run his coach, leaving the Square at 1 o'clock sharp.
