Pre- i sent — Messrs Matheson (in the chair), Kelleher, McMillan, Fake, Cameron, Smith,|Duncan, lsherwood, and Elliott. PROTEST. The Pirates' delegates protested against the senior cup match being awarded to Feilding, on the ground that Roache was not eligible to play for Feilding, as he played during the season with the Wellington Club's first fifteen for the senior shield. According to the printed rules of the Manawatu Union a protest should be made within seven days of the match, and the chairman pointed out that as this had not been done by the captain of the Pirate Club the protest was out of order.
