A. limited number ol store cattle were yarded Three thousand store sheep were yarded, tnd competition was good Honete, 8a to 10a 3d; 2 tooths. 13s 4d : orosabred ewes, 14* Fat nheep, entry 3400, fair average quality; bidding rather ulack. Prime ciossbred wethers, 15* to^l8» 6d: do., crossbred ewes, 12a to 16* 64; merino ewes, 5s to 9s. The sup ply of p.g* (350) was principally baconers and porkers, the former bringing 35s to 48?, the latter 20s to 323} bacon 3J per lb Messrs Abraham and Williams report under yesterday's date:— Stock came forward in moderate numbers. Trade felt dull under the hammer. Cattle receded aomewhat in pnee. For sheep, fat weth* en improved in" value, being keenly competed for : lambs were neglected, practicallj no tales being made, Breeding ewes maintained about equal to late rates, but were difficult to quit- Most of the transaction* in sheep took place pnyatelv. Cattle— Weaners, 27s 6d to 34» ; 18---month to 2-je*r «U»r«, £2 10s 6d to £2 14* ; 18-month heifers, £3 13s ; forward bullocks, £4 15*.
