The new directors of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company decline to withdraw their opposition to the proposal that they should .provide the costs involved in prosecuting the old directors in the attempt to recover the amount of dividends paid out of capital. H|At a. statutory meeting of the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Mr Martin reiterated the new Board's in tention to persue a cautious and economical policy.
