(Per Press Association). Sydney, August 2. The following is the formation of the new Ministry :— Premier and Treasurer, Mr G. M. Reid ; Colonial Secretary, Mr J. N. Brnnker ; Public Works, Mr J. H. Young ; Public Instruction, Mr J. Gerrard; Mines Department, Mr Sydney Smith; Lands, Mr J. H. Carruthers; Justice, Mr A. J. Gould; PostmasterGeneral, Mr J. Cook (late Leader of the Labonr Party); Attorney-General, Mr Simpson ; Vice-President of the Executive, Hon. W. H. Sutton, M.L.C. This pay. The members of the new Ministry j have all had experience in Ministerial 1 life. The ill-feeling which prevails be- . tween Sir H. Parkes and Mr Keid culminated in the former rejecting as an insult an invitation to be present at a ] dinner to the new Premier, 4V You know | as well as Ido that Keid is one of tho 1 most stubborn and unreasonable oppon- ] ents to Australian federation, and you ] are now prepared (said Sir H.
