Concert at Apiti.

concert was given in the schoolhouse by " The Hope of Apiti " Temperance Lodge on Saturday night last. A long and varied programme was gone through, consisting of choruses, songs and recitations, in a manner which, judging by the frequent and prolonged applause, must have given every satisfaction to the large and attentive audience. The Chief Templer, Mr C. S. Potts, was in the chair, and Mrs Buckman, assisted by Mr H. Millen, presided at the organ, kiudly lent for the occasion by Mrs Buckman The following took part in the programme, viz. : — Chorus by several of the officials and members ; songs and recitations by Misses Ella Watson, Rosina Buckmau, Lizzie McMillen, Ruth Curtis, Olive and Ethel Buckman, Sarah, Mary and Barbara Rankins, M rejßuckman, Masters R, and A. Curtis Messrs B Millen, Eankiu, Chuck, Ellis, York, Guy, Wildbore and Babbnge.
