An elderly man named Charles Arney, a waiter, living in a boarding house in Charlotte street, was taken to the hospital suffering severely from poisoning. He left a letter telling the Benevolent Institution officials of his intention to administer the dose by mixing oxalic acid with the medicine he was taking. He may recover. i
