A thorough inspection of the Gothic's wool is being made. < >ne instalment comprising over 170 bales from a Canterbury firm, is being sent ashore here, and it is probable that further quantities will be similarly treated. Arrangements are likely to be made for the transference of these lots to another vessel under-going such treatment as will render it safe Every effort is being made to examine and reject all suspiciously heated wool.
