Women's Franchise in Cnurch Matters.
. 0 (FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION ) Wellington, This Day. St JameK' Anglican Church at the Lower Hutt has decided to recommend the Synod to extend the franchise to women at the parishioners' meeting. The proposal was strongly opposed by the incumbent. A motion to allow women to ait on the vebtry was lost by 1 vote.
