Accident to a French Torpedo Boat.

(Per Press Association.) Paws, July 21 A French torpedo boat named the Hydrondeur collided with a vessel in the English Channel, and as sbe was leaking badly all baste was made for Boulogne with the view of beaching her. The vessel was driven along at the rate of 28 knots, aad the high rate of 6peed caused a fire on board. This led to almost a panic, and wben it was discovered that the outbreak was in tbe_ vicinity of magazine the crew became frantic. Fortunately, however, tho flames were extinguished, and the vessel reached tbe harbour safely.
