Kiwitea County Council Tenders
The following tenders were received by the Kiwitea County Council on Saturday last : — For widening Terrace road : — C. Ross, £18 10s; A. Wigg, £19 IOs; Mclntyre and Adams, £19 15a : Hancox, £20, for 25 chains ; M . Doherty, £20 for 22 chains ; Jacob Schapleski, £20 for 20 chains; McDermott, 17s 3d per chain; W. Goodwin, 19s por chain. Bridle track on Mangatikei road : — Fraser and Mackintosh, £50 for 65 chains ; A. Wigg, £29 for 35 chains ; Bebrent and Strawbridge, £50 for 40 chains ; R. Kennedy, £50 for 40 chains ; Kite and Co, £38 for 40 chains; E. G. McDermott, £l ls od per chain for 40 chains ; Cotterill, £41 for £40 chains ; Buchanan and Hunt, £39 per 40 chains; Mitchell^ £50 for 45 chains, £43 10s f>r 40 chains Tbe tender of C. Ross was accepted for widening 25 chains of Terraco road for £20 aud that of Fraser and Mackintosh for 65 chains of bridle track on Mangitikei road for £50 was accepted conditionally on the approval of the chairman.
