m (FES PBESS ASSOCIATION) Wellington, July 18. Mr Justice Richmond had before him in the Banco Court an important point involved in an appeal from a decision of Mr Brabant, S.M. A man named Armstrong had been convicted for using profane language to the Salvation Army at Marton, and be now appealed againt the conviction, the martial question involved being whether the words he was convicted of using amounted to " profane, indecent, or obscene language " under the Police Offences Act, 1884. His Houor reserved judgment.
