Mr District Judge Kettle's Claims.
The Wellingtou correspondent of the Wanganui Herald wires as follows :— A deputation, consisting of Sir R. Stout, Dr Newman, Messrs G Hutchison, A. D. Willis, F. Maguire, E. M. Smith, and F. Pirani. M.HR.'s, waited on the Minister of Justice to urge the claims of District Judse Kettle to a higher remuneration for bis services The Minister s-sid the matter (-hould receiye the fule-t attention when the Government were framing the estimates, and the views of the deputation sbould receive the fullest amount of attention.
