The Barraba Murder.

A THIRD MAN CONFESSES HIS GUILT. (pes. press association ) Melbourne, July 5. A prisoner named Osborne, who is at present undergoing a sentence of eight years in Pentridge Gaol, has confessed to firing the fatal shot which killed McKay, manager of the branch of the Commercial Bank in Barraba. (Lee, at the trial in New South Wales, admitted he shot McKay accidentally in the struggle). Later. The authorities have investigated Osborne's confession, and declare that there is no foundation for the statement that he shot Mr McKay.
