Bidding is good and prices are fully maintained, " Rock wood " New Zealand realised 9f d, " Bourndale" 10£ d. The Aorangi's butter arrived in excellent condition and is being stored. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,260,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,220,000 quarters. The wool sales continue animated. The shares in Robert Campbell and Co. are quoted at £4. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) received the following London market cable yesterday : Wool— The sales opened yesterday at an average advance of about five per cent, on last sales' closing rates. The attendance of both Home and foreign buyers is good, and competition is active. The The total quantity available, including wool held over from last series, is 371,000 bales, 76,000 of which have been forwarded to the manufacturing districts direct. Wheat — Market inactive ; weather favorable ; New Zealand wheat, average, is worth 24s 9d per 4961 b ; other quotations unchanged since last telegram.
