HUNT CLUB MEETING
Wellington, Julj 5. The Wairarapa Hunt Club meeting was held to-day on the Tauherenikau course. The attendance was moderate with fine weather. The following are the results : — Trial Steeplechase — Kaika 1 3 dividend, £6 1. Wairarapa Steeplechase — Austral 1 ; dividend, £4 17s. Hack Flat — Fresh Deal 1 ; dividend, £1 16s. Ladies' Bracelet — Kaika 1 ; dividend £3 17s. Hack Hurdles — Fresh Deal 1 ; dividend, £2 3s. Hunters' Flat — Makomako 1 ; dividend, £1 19s. Hunt Club Steeplechase — Lord John 1 ; dividend, £2 19s.
