Deputation to the Premier.
(PKK PRESB ASSOCIATION. > Wellington, This Dav. A deputation from the Municipal Conference waited on the Premier to lay the results of the conference before him With respect to the loan conversion proposals, he said the Government bad no intention of going into the matter at present as they already bad more in hand than they could get through. He admitted it would be a great boon to local bodies, but thought there were some who did not raise loans wbo would object to the scheme.
