(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION) London, July 4. There was a large attendance at the opening of tbe July series of wool Bales. There were 9,360 bales offered, and though the selection was poor both Home and foreign buyers competed keenly, tbe prices being generally 5 per cent, abovo the last closing rates. Jf or medium greasies the rise occasionally reached TA per cent. Murray, Boborts aud Co., received the following wool cablegram from their London house, Messrs Sandersou, Murray and Co., uuder date July 8 : -" Tho aiarkot has opened with a good attendaiaco of buyers, and competition is fait. For groasy moriuo the market haji advanced five por cent. Scoured merino shows no change. Crossbred medium to good has advanced a. shade. Coarse crossbrods show no change"
