Earthquake Shocks at Rotorua.

. ♦ (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, July 2 The inhabitants or Rotorua were aroused at 4.51 this morning by a sharp shock of earthquake, which was. succeeded by nine others at intervals of about half an hour. The tenth shock was felt at 10.29 No damage was done, and there was no unusual thermal activity. The shocks appear to be purely local, not having been felt at Taupo or on the coast.
