War Probable Bitween China and Japan.
(PER, PREBB ASSOCIATION.) Hong Kosg, July 1. It is reported at Shanghai that a battallion of Chinese troops have been ord- . ered to Corea forthwith, as there is seemingly small hope of settling the dispute with Japan. Yokohama, June 28. The Japanese Government has suggested to the Chinese Government a joint occupation of Corea. The latter declines, and is increasing its naval and military stations there. Pabis, June 30. It is expected that the United States Government will arbitrate in the dispute between China and Japan respecting Corea.
