Two of the tries were converted by J. Matravers. At the end of the game the score stood — Feilding, 48 points ; Birmingham, nil. On two occasions the Blues went very near scoring ; once a scrum was formed on the Yellows' line, and Inter the ball was taken behind the lit o, but was lost in the scramble. Mr G. Say well acted as referee, and the line umpires were Messrs R. Taylor and Cannell. The visitors were entertained at tea at Mr Lowes' Hotel by the local club. After tea an adjournment was made to the Druids' Hall, where a very pleasant hour was spent, songs, recitations and speeches being given by members of both teums. The gathering terminated at 8 o'clock with " Auld Lang Syne." The Feilding team arrived home at 10.30, well pleased with their outing and tho hospitality shown to them by the Mountaineers
