Explosion in a Mine.

TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY MEN ENTOMBED. (PKB MEBB ASSOCIATION). London. Juie 23. An explosion has occurred at a mine in Pontypridd, in Glamorganshire. Two hundred and sixty persons were below at the time, and so far only a few have been rescued. The work of rescue is proceeding June 24. . Six bodies have been recovered from the Pontypridd mine and 17 of the men rescued. One hundred and twenty of the miners are still entombed.
