Irish Peach, o well known early, rose-cheeked, and n decidedly gooa apple. 3 Lora Wolaelev, a variety raised in the aouth. a kitchen fruit of good s:ze, that cin highly recommended. 4. Ljdgt?.nore Nonpareil, a good keener, and u choice eating apple. 5. Purity, a prolific bearer, aud keeps well. 6 -New England Pigeon, a handsome looking fruit ; sweet, but of rather poor fit vour. 7. Northern opy, oao ot the best apples we have, whether for dessert, cooking, or drying-. Fur a tew years it is somewhat backward in bearing 1 , but it will bear w^il in due course. 8. Schell, another good son, and one that keeps well. 9. Shepherd's Perfection, a dessert apple of superior character both in appearance and flavour. 10. Striped lieutin, one of the best culinary apples in cultivation, the tree being hardy, and bearing well, with fruit large and baudsome. 11. Winter Majetin. a very old and favourite sort, and all along an absolnte blight-resister. Then among the apples that only blight a little can be classed Sravenstein, an early ana a really desirable apple ; Rymer, a good bearer t and the old £tone Pippin, that in some localities produces such heavy crops of fruit. By planting these varieties you will secure early and late sores, dessert and cooking, the majority being good bearers.
