Home Politics.
(Per Press Association). London, June 20. Many members of the House of Commons express themselves confident that the Chancellor will not insist on colonists paying death duties twice. However, should he insist, Sir R. E. Webster intends to move a clause which will raise the entire question as between Great Britain and the colonies. There ia a general impression that the Government intends to proceed only with financial proposals and Ericted Tenants' Bill this session. The Daily Newa say- that Sir W. Har court will probably agree to compromise on the estate duty question on reciprocal busis.
